Long story. I will spare you the details. It is brought on by a tick bite from a Lone Star tick, which means my time at my cabin will be limited/reserved.

This is in addition to Celiac Disease. Can I get a frickin' break?

There seems to have been an increase in the number of peeps affected here in Oz recently. I remember hearing about 2 cases up-north just a few weeks back.

I suggest you take this as an opportunity to further clean up your game and work on your diet. I know, you already do that, as have I for 42 years now, but as you'd well know it's an ongoing process so my attitude is to always take what appear to be setbacks and turn them into motivation / opportunities to keep improving.

Interested in what happens when you eat red meat then? Some kind of allergic reaction? Is there any cure? Almost seems like it's by design since it dovetails nicely with the anti-beef movement the elite are pushing never mind the lyme disease that many claim was released from a lab....

It is an allergy and it is my only allergy. Sucks for sure. No relation to Lyme Disease. I have a good friend that has Lyme Disease tho. There may be a T-cell injection down the road that may cure Alpha-gal red meat Syndrome :duno:

I will say that it's possible your immune system could repair itself over time so that you might be able to enjoy those foods again. Some people have mentioned that they took some steps to try to restore their gut health and that helped with alpha gal. I also know that celiac disease is rough -- one of my ex's had it years ago.

Yes it can be repaired over time. There is also a T-Cell type solution the University of Michigan is working on that also seems to help w/ Celiac as well. We'll see. Thanks for the kind words.

"Karma" is something often used by the ignorant in the west post 1960's as a sort of substitute for "what comes around goes around". It is a false belief system that actually says a child is starving to death today as a result of sins committed in a past life they lived.
