One of these days I'll build one, and hopefully get the nice finish cracks like his!

Just paint it, wrap it in a blanket before paint cures, jam it into the cargo hold of a plane, and fly to Iceland.

Haha.

Or you could take it into a walk in cooler and then come back out and watch the wonder unfold before your eyes
Nah, if it's worth doing, then do it right. Buy a plane ticket to Iceland.

So I've been thinking about getting a super strat or making one for a good while now and one I never see or hear of being replicated is Lynch's original Tiger.

Any of you guys ever try it?

I know Kramer and LTD used to make them but I'd rather choose the body myself and do it myself. I like the idea of assembling a super strat and making it my own.

This is just in theory. I'd love to replicate DeMartini's Cross Swords Charvel too but that seems like a bitch to attempt

Most likely going to spray paint the body with amber nitro; maybe over a flame top.

I know that I am Waaaaaay late to the party on this one. I made a replica of George's Tiger (less the paint). I found the LTD and ESP's versions to be lacking for my taste. The body is Canadian maple (not sure on the grade) but heavy as hell. This thing was incredible but like most I sold it and want it back. Check out the pic's and let me know what ya'all think.

Ive played George's Tiger guitar alot and he always seems to have it with him. Its by far the heaviest guitar ive ever played.

That's a killer take of the guitar! Love the way it turned out.

I'm either going graffiti yellow with black/chrome hardware or I'm doing something I haven't thought out yet.

Thanks Crew for the compliments. Out of all the lynch guitars (less the J frog, had one of those too) the yellow tiger always was intriguing to me. Like I said.....(no offense to current ESP/LTD tiger owners) the productions ones just looked way off! I did a ton of due diligence on Lynch's tiger. I know at one point George said it was a boogie body (and I think ) neck. I found those specs and based this guitar off of those numbers. The thicker body, the wider neck and so on. It was a fun project that I took my sweet ol' time on. When I took it into Rauen Guitars for the paint they must have thought I was nut's!!!!! I was armed with a ton of pictures, angles, quotes from George on the original. ya know stuff a normal guitarist would do :D !

Good luck on your project. Looking forward to seeing the pics!
