Looking at a G-System as a good floorboard fx unit that will allow future expansion in to building a rack.

Anyone use a g-system? what are your thoughts?

slow day? i guess i'm used to HCAF response time

ohh well. I bought the thing. :) stoked.

i had bought the g sytem for my herbert with all hopes and expectations of being the ultimate easy hook n go set up.
easy set-up yes
gliches in software yes
sucked the life from herbie yes
had to go yes it did!
sorry,i wanted it to work but nothing will suck the life of my favorite 4000 dollar head, something i refuse to live with.i tried hooking it up several different ways,to no success.
alternative i just bought the gsp 1101 by digitech, awesome i dont use the amps or cabs simulators but the effects are great and no suckage from herbie!

anyone else?

Just curious, this has my eyes on it.......... looks promising, but I've heard both sides of reviews. Just wanting some more opinions.

I'm planning on buying one.
Problem is though, I have $250 to spend every month on gear, yet I can never save for 4-5 months :( always have some other shit to buy

I'm planning on hooking it up in effects loop and I really can't see how bad it could suck the tone. Plus, my take on "tone suckage is", once I use reverb/delay or any effect for that matter, I don't mind my tone to change. I'm sure I can tweak it to sound good although different than my amp's tone. And when I switch the fx loop off, problem gone. Pure tone again. Am I missing something?
