Idk why either. When I had someone come over with their ultralead it was just such an amazing amp. Everything was stupidly clear and I loved it. I love my Baron K88 more than any other amp but I just love that super tight/dry tone, it's just different and whenever someone plays one live I just want one more. How does everyone like their VHTs?

I have had my D60 combo for over 2yrs. 0 gas or tone chasing. I can coax anything i need with help of a few pedals. Best single chanel amp IMHO. It can do anything from jazz to metal.

I have a 50 CL w/EQ+REV and I love the amp. O pair it with a sland FB with p50E's.

I've owned 3 ultraleads, a d120, and. CL100... You could say I'm a fan....

Had a 100cl. Awesome amps for metal. Very dry, used mine with a boost and still felt leads could have been a little better. But it was loud as hell and cut like a razor. Great EQ too.

Hey nice knobbies!! ^^^

I love mine quite a bit it is a very brutal amp. Vht/Fryettet's are definitely one of a kind and record very well.
It is temporarily in the classifieds unfortunately due to financial issues and the holidays. My shameless plug could cure your stomach ache.

I like mine a lot, really only use it for recording though. I have a lot of respect for Steve Fryette too, some of his products don't really interest me, but his openness about his process and the build quality is amazing. You could've gotten min's ul for like 13 if I remember right :poke:

I have around 20 amps here & the ones I use most are my THD's & Fryette's - Deliverance 120 & Sig X. The THD's do not do highgain. I like all of the Fryette amps I have played on ..... easy some of the best amps ever made.

Wow. Look at how different the old VHT logo plaque is on my UL...

Mine's like that too. I've got a pb classic from '93, basically a clx without the gain switches.

Just playing it yesterday! Love my 50 CL! great gig amp you can open up a 50 watter and the VHT's do not dissapoint when goosed! Love all the tone tweeks the controls give you, and "I" actually play a lot of mid low gain blues on mine...

I've had an UL for sale locally for a few months now... not much interest it seems

I love my UL. It can do just about anything i want it to. From clean to mean. The only amp I like more is my Herbert. Totally different feel between the two though.

I had an Ultralead but didn't like it so I sold it. I much preferred the ST/50, but bth ampsrequired a lot of volume to not sound thin. The best amp they make is the SigX, works at all volumes, sounds just as good and very versatile. I would own a SigX if it fit my style ofmusic which is more 90s to modern and I think the SigX does classic rock, 80s and jazz the best.

Love my SigX as well. I still turn to other amps more when I'm just playing at home, but love gigging with it since it does so much so well.

I've owned a 50CL, CLX, and a UL. For metal the UL walks all over any of the other VHT's.

I love my UL, it's never going anywhere, especially with it's custom oxblood red cloth and matching FB cab.

Anyone have a good comparison between the D60 vs. D120?
