I've been eyeballing the purple burst for a few weeks now ................... I still don't have a semi hollow / hollow body guitar and would like to get one
I don't have on as well and would like to add one. Just don't know what to go for. I don't really like 335s and I keep thinking I want to have a Gretsch but the last one I picked up and played I just felt meh about.

Would need to see it in person first. Gibson routinely has shit pale rosewood and that will just kill a nicely colored/topped guitar. I would be nervous ordering site unseen.

I paid $1000 for my figured red quilt ES-335 on eBay about 20 yrs ago. It was my one untradeable guitar, but I had to do it when I got offered a like new SLO100 for an even trade. Last Sunday I bought a Suhr Modern on Reverb and the next day a real nice ES-335 just like mine popped up on the local FB Marketplace for $1850 (minor headstock repair), which I totally would have snagged if I hadn't just bought the Suhr. Oh well, will get another eventually.

I like the inlays on the ES 335 supreme plus it has ebony board but otherwise I agree with you on the small blocks. Gimme the big blocks or gimme dots.

Purple by FAR is better looking

I like that it's dark purple, but no so dark it looks black.

The blue is nice too, has some aqua in it to my eyes.

For colors, I like purple and blue guitars...I'd usually go for purple but the blue just pops here; I'd like to see both in person, I'm sure they both look better vs photos

For traditional guitars I like block inlays, unfortunately these look too plain...

I like the inlays in the Ibanez PS10, split MOP with abalone in the center, and in the binding.

For modern shredders, I prefer no inlays, just side dots.
