Blue or Purple.
I've been eyeballing the purple burst for a few weeks now ................... I still don't have a semi hollow / hollow body guitar and would like to get one

I don't have on as well and would like to add one. Just don't know what to go for. I don't really like 335s and I keep thinking I want to have a Gretsch but the last one I picked up and played I just felt meh about.I've been eyeballing the purple burst for a few weeks now ................... I've got 2 payments left on my 70's Custom ........ we'll just see how the purple looks to me in a couple of months .....Get teh red 1.![]()
They're both gorgeous !! I wouldn't kick either one out of bed .... that's for sureIf I had to pick between those two exact guitars,, I would pick blue, and I love purple guitars.
Vonbonfire recommends go down to your local guitar kenter and pick a winner in person=success.I've got 2 payments left on my 70's Custom ........ we'll just see how the purple looks to me in a couple of months .....
Sweetwater at least let's you pick from actual guitars they have in stock ....Would need to see it in person first. Gibson routinely has shit pale rosewood and that will just kill a nicely colored/topped guitar. I would be nervous ordering site unseen.
yes, but then they do their mandatory 55-point fuckery, er inspection.Sweetwater at least let's you pick from actual guitars they have in stock ....
I like the inlays on the ES 335 supreme plus it has ebony board but otherwise I agree with you on the small blocks. Gimme the big blocks or gimme dots.another what would be great looking guitar ruined by block inlays, they never fail lol
Purple by FAR is better looking
