GCX help needed

I posted this in the main section, but suggested to also ask here.

My GCX had been internally wired for series operation (which I un-modded) but it also had a grounding buss wire installed on both PCB's. (See pic) I went ahead and removed the wire because I figured it wasn't necessary, since looking at the PCB, it seems as though the in, send, and out are already tied together on one grounding plane. Did I do right, or should I re-install the grounding buss wire?

You have removed the hot of the in and out of the loop. The ground is the long buss along the jack side of the board.
 
I removed that too. Last night at practice, everything worked perfectly. :thumbsup:
