I'm actually at a point that I'm pretty happy with my gear..
Only pieces that I have my eye on are an EVH50w head and a gibson SG in aged cherry...
Don't really need either of them but they'd be nice to have.. Gigging wise the EVH50w would be a lot smaller and lighter than my quickrod.
To stay relevant to OP's question:
On the SG - seems like they didnt make many in aged cherry. I saw that the angus signature SG was in aged cherry but it's a lot more $$. I think they offered a "limited" SG back in '08 or something that had aged cherry. I've wanted one for a long time and have not been able to find one in aged cherry. It's a lot darker than the normal red that SG's come in.
Either an aged cherry SG or I'd consider a black SG3 (the limited model SG that had 3 humbuckers). The 3 humbuckers would probably offset the heavy neck everyone complains about.
