I always see guys post in their signatures lists of gear they own, sometimes gear they've sold too. I thought man, that sounds like a great idea! Memory lane, right? So, I start writing mine down. About half way through the process I look at the list & realize "this is embarrassing.." What the hell, I might as well finish, but I can't post this to my sig!

Yeah man. That’s not really that bad. However I am going on the assumption that you’ve been playing for >= 15 years or so. One suggestion to you: go check out a Marshall style amp with a boost in front. And play it loud!!

Way too many guitars and cabs to list. The majority of these were bought/resold back in my ebay days to try and flip for profit, when I found a steal locally. Some are "I wish I had back"....specifically an 82 2204 and the Cameron Modern 2203x. The Crates I found for less than 150 and sold for up to 400.
I have played all the Friedman stuff, other than the BE50 and Butterslax. Also tried the JP2C.

You know with the Marshall thing, I've played some 90s, 2000s & current stuff in stores but I could never really get it to be "that sound" for me. I'd love to play a good JCM800 sometime though... Also, both from a playing at home & gigging perspective I feel that Marshalls really NEED to be loud to sound good. Sometimes too loud. I've felt the same way about a few of the Rectos I've had. After lots of searching I figured out that the older SimulClass Mark amps are just the sound in my head, so I decided to specialize!

That's the bitch about GAS though, later on I might play something different that blows my mind and all my plans..

The best way to try a Marshall out is to grab a vintage 800 or JMP master vol, 2203/4 and put a nice boost pedal in front through a greenback type cab and let it rip. 900s, DSL, current stuff doesn't quite get there vs a vintage single channel master volume Marshall.
