Seriously Bro, I have so much sellers remorse it isnt even funny. Especially when I think about the things that I sold to buy things that I thought were the latest and greatest and ended up not liking and selling at a loss. then there are the things that I sold that arent made any more and quadrupled in price if you were lucky enough to find it again..

Yeah, Im really starting to hate you now for bringing this up. I have to admit that Im in a happy place with gear and dont see myself gassing for anything ever again. That still doesnt excuse you for this thread you rotten bastid!!!

Jcm slash circumstances at the time dictated the sale. Wasnt a huge fan of the tone but the value would be higher now.

As has been stated by a few others, my early 90's Mesa Tremoverb. I let it go for $1,000. Good luck finding another amp of that quality and versatility for that money.

Oh yeah, I guess I regret selling my '82 2204 as well :bash:

But it's all good - it's not like I'm hurting for cool gear right now! :D

Voodoo Amps Deluxe Mod 5150 II with output transformer upgrade. That amp did everything well...Bad mistake.

Hey, why does this feel like a "Joey Thread"

Anyway - gear I regret selling? Only one - my brand new Twin Jet. It was a great great amp, and although more or less a bitch to EQ if it was to be anything more than a one-trick pony, it sure as shit did that one trick damn fine!!

My Diezel VH4: killer amp. Then again, it did contribute towards an XTC 20th...

LOL. ...I'm starting to be mad at myself for starting this thread. I thought it would help looking at others gear they let slip away. ..I didn't. :(

Oh, so you downgraded - may I ask why? :)

Wish i still had my Mark IV short head. I traded it for a Mesa roadster. At the time i didn't know as much about gear and in hindsight i bet if i would have just swapped out the tubes that were in it I would have loved it way more than i did.

Mesa Boogie Subway Rocket.

These days there are a lot more quality amps being made in tiny packages, and for reasonable prices, but when I had mine around 2001-2006 for maybe $350 used I never heard anything so small sound so good. Still wish I had it around just for the bedroom and jamming with people w/o lugging a bunch of gear.

Washburn N4 Gold Sparkle Custom Shop
Les Paul Custom Red/Gold Sparkle
Bogner Uberschall Twin Jet
ESP Michael Amott White Ninja

I think my biggest regret was selling this particularly nice sounding 1976 Marshall 50 watt non master volume head. It was one of those strange transitional ones. It was signed by Jim Marshall on the inside as well. It just had a great rock sound to it...not as gainy as some others, but very warm sounding with great clarity.

I really only sold it to fund the purchase of an old plexi (still have this), which some might consider a good move, but still...

I saw it come up for sale again at one point, but the guy was asking a ridiculous price...haven't seen it since then.

As far as guitars go, I don't have any huge regrets, even though I've probably owned more guitars than amps. Only one that comes to mind is this incredibly rare EmeX guitar which I sold last year...the only reason I want it back is because it's pretty unique (ugly). I know who has it at least.

An XTC 20th is not a downgrade to anything; just a different flavour. Plus, I have a Herbert ;)

Nothing.

Gear whore deluxe................I keep everything.

When I was about 14-15, I picked up a Burman head that was supposedly built for Foghat. In the last 25 years, I haven't even seen another Burman amp.
