Name the gear you currently own, that you will absolutely never part with. Dare I ask... also the gear you NEVER should have sold...

Oh man....this subject is all me to the letter!!
Had tons of gear thru the years. Amp I will never Sell.....FJA modded Dual Recto. Its that good.

Biggest regret amp wise? Selling my Diezel VH4S.... :(

Oh well....its all good.

Guitars is a whole new level. Collected for years. Had over 400 in the time span collecting.
Sold them all. Tons of regrets....oh well. Better to play them then have them sit in the back room in a case. ;)

I remember when i first joined the forum and you had the killer guitar in yellow with an ebony fretboard :D

My prestige 1570 and ESP MII Custom special that i ordered. Two guitars that do exactly what i need and have all of the polar opposite traits i intended between them for versatility. I could see adding more to what i have but never unloading either one.

Amp wise i could never see unloading my prototype/5150 II. It is a one off build that would require many hours to replicate and i highly doubt i could get out of it what i have in it with parts, time, math/tests, and a few revisions.

It's really simple. If you like it. Buy it. It's a solid amp. Never let's me down.
I know.....I loved mine. Sold it to buy a Herbert(Couldnt afford both at once)
and it was all down hill from there. :aww:
Wish It was a Simple as 'Buy it if I liked it'.....My wallet tells me different.

Keepers - Gutierrez Juggernaut, Gutierrez Juggernaut bolt-on prototype, 81 JCM800 2203 w/ Gutierrez Satanic Hispanic mod, Kemper

Regrets - Diezel VH4, Langner DCP-1, US made BC Rich Gunslinger, my 1st Mesa TOV.

Im happy with what I have :D

As for amps: I can't see selling the MK III, MK V and 20th X but shit happens sometimes and you need cash, just hope that doesn't happen

Amps I miss….Hmmmm none really. Just glad I had a chance to play the ones I did. The '79 Marshall JMP100, Cameron mod'd Uber and Eggy M4 where great but had to move on.

Effects: Luv the Soldano Space Box and plan on keeping it. The TC2290 was a keeper and should have kept it. Other than that I don't think I miss any effects, the Afx II takes care of all that.

Im sure I will sell the Axe II when a new model is available or just use it for effect which is what it is being used for at the Moment.

Guitars: Sold ALOT   Miss any  nah might pick up a Gibson GO satin finish and 2 Tele's 1 Select and maybe one cream or blk like Keith Richards with a Humbucker neck Single coil Bridge

What have I sold and bought back again   RG-16, 8 sp rack and a Palmer ADIG-LB 04

'88 charvel 3DR/predator. I bought it new off the shelf, its had numerous breaks, but has played hundreds of shows, and its still straight as an arrow! I have a blue one i bought as backup a couple years ago, but my original one is still my fave, and will stay with me .

20thA XTC is never leaving me - as per Reza's comment above, it'll go to the grave with me.
VH4, this answers two categories at once; I wished I'd never sold my mono versions to try the stereo head. I prefer the mono, and will more than likely get another one very soon. It will not leave my side - ever.

I sold my brand new Twin Jet. Although I found it a bitch to EQ in order to get the tones needed on the fly when playing; the tone it did offer was just tits. I regret selling it especially since I got it FULLY loaded for next to nothing from a dude who'd gone out of business.

KEEPERS: VH4 (possibly the Herbert, have yet to re-experiment) and the 20thA-XTC; 2 x '57 Lesters, 1 x '59 Lester. My ESPs.
REGRETS: Bogner TJ

Everything else is water under the bridge.

Put aside $10 bucks a week. Have 2 less Starbucks or burgers a week. In no time you can buy a new one...
Yeah....I need to set up another "gear account"
Did that about 10 years ago and worked great.
I never eat out or do the starbucks.......but I do have a few thousand CD's that can be sold off. :D

My Dual Recto isn't going anywhere. I wanted one for a long, long time. And I went through all sorts of crap to get this one when Customs decided they wanted to fuck with me.

I had an early 90's Explorer that I had Seymour Duncan's put in when I bought it (Screamin' Demon bridge, Pearly Gates neck). It was probably the best-playing Gibson I've owned. I traded it in on a Jem on a whim. The Jem was a cool guitar, but I missed the Explorer. A few years later I saw it pop up at a local guitar shop in their used section, but I was too broke to buy it and let it slip away.

Gear I'd like to hang on to:

-Mark IV. Hope I never give into GAS and trade it away or sell...
-My Strymon, Dr Scientist, Lovepedal and Xotic effects. Took me a long time to get the pedals I want so I'd like to keep them.

Gear I got rid of and regret:

-modded recto
-Early Bogner 101B -never really got rid of it, since I only had it on loan for awhile, but I should've bought it when I had the $ for it. Still can't get that lead tone out of my head.

-Vintage mxr pedals, muff and tube screamer. They're so ridiculously overpriced now.

My black TA Drop Top. It was my first one last year and now I've become spoiled.
