My black TA Drop Top. It was my first one last year and now I've become spoiled.

That is nice!!! :2thumbsup:

My original RG565 will probably never leave my possession. Has my perfect configuration. Was in 9/10 condition when I got it, which is NUTS for an older Ibanez

I said to myself time and time again I'll never sell a Mark IV if I got one... but I'm on #2 and I think I'm gonna sell it. Not for other guitar gear, for an AR-15

Soldano GTO pedal I bought new 9 yrs go. That thing will make any amp (ss or tube) plugged into a good cab roar like a modded Marshall. I haven't used it on any rigs for years but the GTO into a EH .44 caliber is my beastly back up rig.
My mahogany neck & body Suhr Modern with a plain maple honey top, I'll never sell either of those.
As for gear I've sold and regretted? Haven't done that. . . . . Yet

Better get your AR while you still can.

I would eat Saltines and Potted Meat for a long time before selling this.

My 2001 Les Paul Classic will never be sold. I screwed up and sold a 1988 Marshall JCM 2550 black tolex jubilee. I seriously regreat that one.

I will never sell my Gary Hines made Les Paul. Ever. As for the others-I would like to keep them all but I could part with them if it proved necessary.

In theory my mesa mark V should never leave me. I'm on my 5th/6th one at the moment and always regret selling them. I've put a lot of effort into the rig I have presently (different boosts/ODs/etc-all consciously considered to best assist my V).

As for regrets, I'm with the majority on this one-VH4.

Guitar wise: I regret selling my 69 LPC. It wasn't really at all original but it has some mojo, wish I would have held onto that one.

Other than that, I'm okay with what I parted with. There were definitely a few gems that passed through my hands (and I do miss them) but it was all part of the adventure.

Both lists are pretty formidable...

Keepers:

Splawn Amps
Ceriatone Amps
Marshall 1974X
The amp whose name shall not be uttered
Neal Moser Guitars
George Riszanyi custom Telecasters
Ibanez RG565EG, RG3XXVLB
Ibanez RG770DXLB, RG770DXVM, RG760BK
Gibson R9, R8, Raw Power Studio, LP LIMITED Edition
Ibanez '88 JEM77FP
Suhr S4
BC RICH ASM Speedloader
BC RICH BICH perfect 10
Epiphone SG Double Neck 12/6
Epiphone LP STANDARD Blue Quilt (Zakk Wylde EMG set + Roland GK pickup)
Epiphone LP STANDARD Blue Sparkle (Duncan Phat Cat P - 90's)
Probably my Ibanez 20th anniversary RG550's

Everything else is a maybe..

Stuff I never should have sold:

ROCKMAN STAGE HEAD #2
ART SGX2000 Express + X15 Ultrafoot
ADA MP-1
BOSS ME-5
Hughes & Kettner Switchblade head (Replaced with 100C combo)
Hughes & Kettner Trilogy (Has since been replaced)
Ibanez ARX300CRS

Every once in awhile I'll run a "what if" scenario through my head and it involves getting rid of everything except for a few guitars and a few amps.

Guitars I'd keep: '80 BCR Mockingbird, '81 BCR Mockingbird, '05 PRS Custom 24, '08 PRS Custom 24 57/08.

Amps I'd keep: Diezel VH4S, Marshall Vintage Modern, late '70s Marshall JMP combo, Mesa TOV combo.

Regrets...none. Either wasn't using the gear or sold/traded it for something else.

Martin

Don't ever see me selling my FJA modded 5150II. Amp is killer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will never sell my 1997 made to order custom shop BC Rich Mockingbird Archtop signed by Bernie Sr. Can't imagine ever selling my EBMM JP6 BFR. Should have never sold my two Schecter Custom Shop CETs.

Jim

I'll never sell my Vigier. It's been my main recording guitar for my bands 2 albums, and it always sounds great, plays great, and feels great. Plus it used to belong to Misha from Periphery, so that's kind of cool.

I'll never sell my Emperor cabs either. Love them.

Will never sell my Gibson G0 or '88 Fender Mary Kaye Strat as far as guitars go.

As for amps, I'll never sell my CEC Brigand. Just does so much and does it all well. Not really the tightest high gain amp but for sludge, it can't be beat. Tight enough that it doesn't flub out but has enough bass content to get a little bit of fuzz around the lows if you dial up the body controls on channel 2. Plus the clean/crunch channel is one of the best I've ever heard. Incredibly unique amp and I've loved every minute of having it.

Pedals, I've got a bunch of these I'll never sell. D*A*M Fuzzaround, Skreddy HM Fuzz, Castledine MkOne Bender, Pigdog Loony II proto, Klon KTR (though I said I'd never sell my silver horsie until the KTR came out so who knows), Jen Harmon Booster, EHX Electric Mistress and a Castledine Pro MKII.

Regrets:

Don't really miss any guitars, though I kinda regret selling a pair of Gibsons my dad helped me buy in high school since he died two years back. Wasn't really a fan but the sentimental thing kinda sucks. Luckily, I still have my first Strat he bought me when I was 10 and the THD he bought me right before he died.

I regret selling an OD100 I had, just because I got it for such a killer price and I won't be able to get another for that little money. Didn't miss it until recently and I realized I need a bit more Marshall flavor in my life.

No pedal regrets. Tend to hold on to those longer.

My white 84 lp custom will hopefully be with me forever. I was in the worse jam at a bad point in like 06 and had to sell it , I got back on my feet and a few yrs later i actually noticed my exact same guitar on eBay in Wisconsin so I verified numbers and used buy it now option and got it back!
I wish I still had my Cameron modded 77 2203 , my 81 lp deluxe flametop which was a one off custom order, and my 89 lp goldtop 56ri which were all sold at same time as custom along with rest of my collection. I still keep an eye out for my deluxe as I would love to get it back.

Gear I will never sell:

Bogner 20th A XTC
Taylor 814ce

Gear I wish I kept

Sonor Lite acoustic kit
early 90's RG550

Gear I will never sell:

The two Suhr Custom Moderns I own. Had three of them before these, but I felt I got the specs 100% to my liking with the two I currently have....just love them. And, I could add the EVH 5153 50-watt to the list, although I might change my mind on that years later. My Moderns are perfect for me though. One day I'd still like to own another Anderson....but with my own desired specs....that'll probably be many years away.

Gear I regret selling? Not any really.

Never will go
VHT 2/56/2 Black Beauty - sold it once, and was lucky enough to get to buy it back
VHT Fat Bottom 2x12 - Longest piece I have owned, and has sounded great with EVERY amp/rack I have owned

Should NOT have sold
Ibanez RG7-CT - best playing guitar I ever owned (2nd being the 48th ESP I still have) and was my first real 7-string

Surprisingly that is the only regret I have luckily.

I will NEVER sell my VH4, CCV, two Silverbursts, or R9....

...unless it's to get that Ed Brown 1911 I've been wanting... :D
