I think it was about the "Dollar Store Satriani" thing.
Still looking for the application for a custom one, but feel like it should be community choice.
Given all the love I've been receiving lately I'm thinking "Resident Bitch," "Tube Peasant," or "Resident Peasant." ?
Just not sure where I should mail the check. ?‍♀️

Tbh, I'm not really looking for a career in valve slanging, so tube or valve anything probably isn't the best description.
Though, if guitar playing members in good standing ever need tubes, I'll do what I can.

I don’t “Need” them persay, but I am constantly on the make for good old glass. Particularly 12AX7s. None of this fucking Ruby Tubes, JJ, Shuagang bullshit. Amperex, Mullard, RCA, Magnavox, Mazda, anything out of the now defunct St. Petersburg Russia plant. Yada yada.

I applied the term “ Tube lady” not necessarily because I think you live to supply people with tubes, but because my first online experience with you was the tail end of a conversation where you had tubes.

Call yourself what you like. It’s a woman’s prerogative.
 
Speaking of which, you know it’s a seriously fucked up world when there are a bunch of threads in the classified sections of guitar forums where people are selling tubes and they are shitty, current production, Chinese bullshit. Sorry dude but your used JJs aren’t fucking worth shit. Give them away or better yet, throw them away.

I have a fairly rare all original very old Fender amp and a modest collection of NOS tubes for it. If the day ever comes where the only tubes available are JJs or Ruby Tube rebranded Chinese trash I will take that mother fucker out back and massacre it with a 12 gauge.

Pretty sure we've met/talked/crossed paths a few times. I used to be @Funk'n Metal. No PC required here, so call me what you will :ROFLMAO:

I do have a lot to go through/grade/test and have a decent line of members/friends/family/"friends":ROFLMAO: , but I'll def put you down on the list when I'm ready to start shipping out. I've sent a few out to a few guitar playing members, but those were ones I had tested before. 12AX7s are definitely on the top of the popularity list. Funny no one seems to play Fenders on this site and I think I may have around 5:1 ratio of AU7s and AT7s to AX7s. Tons of black plate tubes, too, but everyone wants the Mullards :ROFLMAO:. Really sucks that modern production seems to be not so great.

The only tube amp I have that I actually give a fuck about is a ‘61 Fender Brown Deluxe. 6V6 power tubes ( I currently have a very nice matched pair of NOS Blackplates in there) and 12AX7s for the 3 preamp tubes. Currently Bugle Boys and a Mazda.
