It’s not that I can’t see what’s alarming some people — the charismatic nationalist-populist with macho tendencies and orange hair. It’s just that I think it’s unrealistic. These same people are overlooking the bigger and more obvious totalitarian threat posed by the merger of power between faceless bureaucracy and corporations (Banks, big tech, pharma, defense, media). But apparently average Trump hysterics are easily hoodwinked because these groups are “Inclusive” and “Sustainable.”
 
I despise Biden and he learned politics at the feet of Byrd. Only difference Byrd did everything he could with excess pork to help West Virginia. Biden is all about helping himself. There’s many examples of him having the Midas touch his entire political career….he has literally done nothing as a senator and everything he does turns to shit. But what gets me more than anything else is after his son died of cancer (God bless him…), that piece of human filth Hunter started fucking his sister in law. Who knows how long that had been going on. Then a week before Biden announced he was running he made them stop their relationship because it might affect his candidacy. Then the allegations of hunter and his niece. I will never support that piece of shit. The only dem I would consider is mancin.

I think people are afraid he’s going to use the same government agencies and processes against his political opponents as they have used against him. I hope he goes in and neuters the power of these agencies….and cancel the patriot act first thing.

Because he sucks up to other dictators and sympathises with our enemies who are autocrats. Because he lies through his teeth and tries to subvert democratic elections even if I hate the democrats tactics when it came to the elections with illegal immigrants etc. Again, I hate the left... but Trump is a loose cannon. By all means secure your borders, stop illegals yadda yadda yadda.... but using Trump to do it is madness. He's a sociopath. Find a decent Republican candidate with some balls that isn't a lunatic that still respects the foundations that your country was built on. Then by all means make the US more conservative and do something about left wing freaks and their off the planet degenerative ideas. The way I see is the left are insane and Trump is just as insane for other reasons. What sort of Republican sucks up to Russia, China and North Korea. Trump is a f'er.

I'm not sure he's "sucking up," is he? Anyways I appreciate it because I don't want to be at war with other countries, dictator or not. The last thing the US needs to be doing is going around the world "Fixing" their problems, spreading "Democracy." I agree he's a liar and probably a sociopath. Kind of a loose canon too, but more in speech and firing people than actually doing anything. But my point continues to be, you think anyone else is that much better? They all lie and are all crazy, or demented, or bought and paid for. What is so bad about Trump in light of how bad everyone else is? I could see being upset if all the other candidates, republican or democrat, were actually good options. I don't see it, or at least it's marginal, although I was hopeful about RFK. The most I can give you is that the matter is subjective as to whether he is particularly harmful or crazy. I mean, for crazy, Biden has been pushing this thing in Ukraine and then Israel, both of which could lead to world war or nuclear exchange or both. That is a concrete example of crazy that is way worse than anything I can think that Trump ever did.

Appeasement is recipe for a worse war later. Have people learnt nothing? re: Ukraine - Russia has no fundamental right to its former soviet bloc countries - they are not Russia. They took a lot of them by force after ww2 anyway and did exactly what the Nazi's did... ie invade their neighbours in a land and power grab. I have quite a deal of sympathy for Ukraine. We also send our troops into all the confilcts the US engages in... Just about everyone of them if not every one of them. I don't like it either but the alternative is to let it get out of control like Nazi Germany. In that case the US tried to stay out of it and war still found them because they sat on their arse... then bang Pearl Harbor. Because Japan was allied with Germany you found yourself having to reverse all their expansionism. China is behaving like that too. Expansionism in the Pacific. They are allies with Russia and North Korea. These countries are going to be a menace. The US needs to wake back up - but it's going to take an attack from these bastards to do that I fear just like in 1941 - that woke you up didn't it.

I'm not an interventionist, I disagree wholeheartedly. American conservatism was rooted in America first isolationism and not getting entangled in Europe's wars. Everything has been downhill since that was reversed. Sometimes other people have to figure out their own problems. America and Australia are basically immune to it all because of geography and instead we've squandered our safety and prosperity for empire. Regarding Pearl Harbor, there's good evidence FDR knew about and let it happen so he could get the US into the war, which the people were opposed to as I mentioned. Anyways, the Russians had already beat the Nazi's by the time the US got involved.
