I think Lynch is far from underated. He was on the covers of the guitar mags every other month back in the day, and in my opinion, he deserved to be. He is one of my all-time favorites.
Like others have said, his recent work and sporadic good tone/bad tone, off night/on night have kind of tarnished his playing for me a little bit now. Still though, one of my all time favorites for lead playing, rhythm playing and tone.
A couple of questions though:
1.) Who STARTS smoking after they have had a heart attack?
2.) Why find a Dawn Dokken sound alike replacement when Jessica Simpson or Demi Lovato could sing those songs heavier and more manly than Dawn ever could?
Thanks for sharing these, awesome photos. Things like this are one of the reason why living in England sucks! Oh well have Eric Johnson to look forward to in June!
I am planning on going to see him on the 29th and 30th (Georgia and Florida), and hoping that he will play some of this type of stuff. I really wish that he had gotten Robert Mason to come back, instead of Oni. Oni just seems like he is bored lately, and not really "into it" as far as the Mob stuff goes.
Oni and George are touring again. Oni said he was back from Europe per Georges request and both noted it been a long time in the making...

I have always loved Lynch. The way he gets out of control and sounds like his fingers are gonna slip off the fretboard and just blow it but yet keeps it together and pulls notes out of thin air.
