I got george the axe 2 a while ago and Mark Day went to his studio and programed it for him. George loves the Axe FX for the studio.

wish I could hang out with George in his studio and just watch him rip it up on the ol' fiddle.

All those tube amps and he's plugged into the Axe II!

I saw a recent interview with George where he was working on a solid state amp with Randall. He mentioned like the ones he used on tooth and nail and called them the good ones. If I can find the interview I will link it here. For what is worth.....I love his tone on that album!

Yeah I noticed three lynchbox heads that have probably never been turned on..

Same here

He has a peavey/amr tube pre and tube compressor in that rack also. Those were really nice units.

  You're probably right! Isn't that Steve_K's old NAKED back there?? Surprised his red SLO isn't up there!

GL don't need the real thing, the hell with tubes and the sun, when you have modelers and tanning beds

Bad tone, bad tan

I don't know man to me george's only good recorded tone is on the wicked sensation (for the tones I dig anyway....to be more specific "for a million years" is about as good as 80's/hair metal/etc tone gets) so I won't be rushing out and copying him in a hurry
