I had one of the very few GL-56's that ESP made...the 3 single coil version, not the HSS configuration. The GL-56 had a fairly chunky neck (for ESP or even any other builder.) Kinda reminded be of a large C Fender neck. It's one guitar I really regret selling. However I got it for a steal of a deal and tripled my money when I sold it about a year or 2 later.

Yes, that's correct but it's only a partial answer. Which amp did he used while he was teaching? It was the same amp that Randy Rhoads was using at that time.

The Peavey was for what he called a "jangly" tone, which I wouldn't call his lead tone on this, I love the lead tone on this and, especially "From the Begining" on Dysfunctional, when he switches to the bridge humbucker from the neck single coil... Searing and blistering is how I'd describe it.

This is a good description of his tone in the Alone Again video. A few years ago, I drop by this guy house that had a Pagan Gold Charvel guitar for sale and in his house he had this rig which included a 100W Bogner amp with an attenuator hook up. I don't recalled which Bogner model it was but it sounded amazingly fat and full.

He's actually using a "Lil Screamin' Deamon"...remember reading in an interview, plus you can see the black allen screws. That's also a 101B up there (not a 100B). Hard to say which amp he was using (Peavey Classic or XTC) during the various (songs) lead parts.

BTW...Screamin' Deamon came out in the late 80's or early 90's.
