Man :aww:

FUCK YOU

Because that guitar is TOO damn good looking   The pickguard, color scheme and everything is too cool

Thanks, guys!
Tommy said he'd find me a chunk of swamp ash with "killer grain", I'm really happy with what he came up with.

 The grain was the first thing I noticed.
Looking good.

Very nice! However, you need to flip one of the pickups. ;)

Looks great!!

I had a swamp ash Les Paul and it was really bright. What PUs are you gonna use??

Wow, thanks for the compliments, guys!
The pickups are Bare Knuckle; Cold Sweat in the neck and Nail Bomb in the bridge. The zebra covers are reversed, so the pickups are right I think. I've been playing Peavey Wolfgangs for so long, I just had to have the covers reversed like that or it would seem weird to me! I've got to go pick up a D-Tuna this week.
Nyah-nyah-nyah! Take that, Fender!

Who did you talk to over there at USACG ? Tommy? Great guy I have hung out with him over there a bit. When you go in his office he has a barrel of necks and starts handing to you to figure out what neck fits you best.
Great sense of humor.... Sticks a Tele body in my face. .... "Smell my F hole". I forget what kind of wood but it did smell funky.

I am going to make sooner or later a tele with H/S/H stained Ox Blood. With one of these ..... I use a lot of tuning for slide and regular playing and want guitar I can use live for such.

Thanks. The pickguard is actually a finger rest, I'm used to the recessed archtop and my pinky gets lost on flat top solid bodies.
Here's the neck:

That is who I was thinking of. My old bass player was going to do a bass ~ based on a biplane. before his health went bad. We did practice about a mile from the shop.
