While we're on the topic of single bucker guitars, I've heard some youtubers claim that they have better sustain and harmonic richness than 2-3 pickup guitars since there isn't the magnetic field from the other pickups impeding anything, and the body can also be a more solid slab of wood. Has anyone here found this to be the case from first hand experience, or does it really seem to be a very negligible difference?

IMO I don't know if it's the actual single pickup, but there's definitely a "thing" to single pickup guitars that isn't there with standard ones.

I don't know what causes it; just that there's a difference. I'll leave the details to the autists.
