Rainbows are awesome. When I was a kid and found out gays stole it I was pretty upset. Why are rainbows associated with gays anyway?
It's a stab at God actually.

Genesis 9:12-13
And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

Who can forget Dio's rooftop rant at God...

What never ceases to amaze me to no end is that a segment of the population totaling about 2% on a good day is so over and beyond obsessed about reminding the rest of us what they do with their genitalia on a daily basis...

Like get over yourselves already...

Maybe because they are practically the last group of people that most other people have no problem discriminating against.

False. Stop drinking the coolaid.

I think that you've had an overdose. I live in one of the gayest cities in the US(Minneapolis) and I've seen discrimination.

When someone puts another person down, often they double down. When people are oppressed, the pendulum swings back. That's what gave us the black panthers and hardcore feminism. This time we got happy buff dudes, wearing thongs in a parade....and I guess this crappy looking guitar.

Can you give me one example of how gays are discriminated against? The assertion that you choose to live in "one of the gayest cities" is hardly proof of anything other that what you choose to be surrounded by.

Already did :D

....around 30%(2010) of the US think that "...gay or lesbian relations between consenting adults..." should be illegal, 40%(2012) think that being gay is morally wrong and 35%(2011) think that gays should not be able to raise children. By not being married, gay couples miss out on 1,138 benefits that married couples get. Around 26% of children that come out to their parents are told they must leave home. Those are some of the numbers, now for more Anecdotal evidence :D When I was in 5th grade, I went to fundamentalist private school. I remember the principle of many years came out and was forced to leave. They told us that it was best if we didn't talk about him, and no one did, publicly. A lot of people dropped someone, whom they liked and seemingly cared for, like a bad habit. Gays are discriminated against for their sexuality more than straight people are, to claim otherwise is false.

That's just the beginning, there's plenty more. Gay's flat out can't adopt in five states. Have you read about gays in the boy scouts? The Employment Non-Discrimination Act allows religious institutions(that doesn't only mean churches) to fire people for the sole fact that they're gay. Many teachers have been fired after years of service just because it came out that they were gay

I think that this music video could use a couple of "Nashville Pride" guitars.......It's probably a given that it contains male nudity

The only problem I have with some members of the gay community is how they define themselves by their sexuality.

Anyway... That guitar is bad and Gibson should feel bad.

Great solo by Blackmore BTW, the only thing not gay in this video

What's gay about it? :dunno: I think it's a great song.

Rainbow with Dio... Brilliant. The other morons... awful.

Come on man! :) I don't expect anyone to understand, since it's in German, but in my opinion, it's pretty clever. The song is about a man with repressed homosexual urges. The title "Mann Gegen Mann" means man against man, yet it also sounds like "Mann Gay Gen Mann"...man gay for man. So, he has two identities, on the surface he thinks that he is straight. Deep down, his true self is gay(man gay for man) but his mind can't admit it to itself, so there is an internal battle between the real him and the fake him(man against man). At least that's my interpretation. I think that's hilarious, and awesome. But none of that matters, I just posted it because it was gay

I wouldn't say that the Rainbow video is gay. I think, if you're looking to categorize it, lol, I'd say it's more feminine than gay

Thank you! It seems around my area of the country, they're all about trying to force everyone to accept their choices, and anyone that is anything but "pro-gay" is called a bigot. GTFO.

It doesnt take much these days to be called a bigot. You just cant have an opinion any more basically. Thats the truth.

I totally agree that the word "bigot" is thrown around far to often. Some people are just of a different generation and aren't used to that sort of thing, you have to take that, and other things, into consideration. For example, when that actor said "Suck my dick faggot" to some paparazzi, probably after being harassed, the hot topic in the media was "is he a homophone?". People his age use those words as colloquialisms. Do they hurt people? Of course, and it's important to be aware of that. But it has nothing to do with how he feels about gays. And yes, some people are obsessed with being gay, it's probably just blow back from being repressed, but it could also be because people demonize them. When insulted, a lot of people double down.

And much of the music industry doesn't? :)

Why do you even care what someone defines themselves by?
Who's life are you living anyway.

I wouldn't play that Gibson just because it looks like shit. But i woudl totally rock this:
