Just seems to be Gibson marketing at it again. Just another in a long line of fails IMO. I've not wanted a new Gibson in many years, remember the reverse V?

And then making guitars without rosewood or ebony boards for the same price (thanks to the US Gov, but still). IMO
That said, I did like that Zoot Suit SG, but not enough to buy one.
My only "Gibsons" these days are a Steinberger Synapse and a limited edition (not inspired by) Epiphone John Lennon 1965 Casino (
https://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/ ... ric-guitar) which was the closest thing to a new 1965 Casino I could find at the time; has period correct body wood and layers and head angle. etc. Build quality was better than I expected. Wish I still had my original Steinberger guitar from back in the day, still have my XL2 bass

Really wish Gibson would do more with Steinberger...
