hey everyone,
so i recently swapped out the pickups in my Gibson Flying V from Duncan Blackouts to a Duncan Distortion SH-6B and Dimarzio (dont remember the model) in the neck. Put a .022uf cap and 500k pots for Vol/Vol/Tone.
The guitar on either position is VERY bright. I mean, so bright so a point of being boarderline shrill. I'd have to turn down the Tone control down to 2 or 3 to get a decent tone, even then, its still missing alot of body and definition on it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
