Who's doing it for you in the hard rock world these days? I need some new inspiration. Royal Blood is killer but they're one of the few new bands I've heard lately that I actually like. Related: What current bands have your favorite guitar tones?

Really digging Joe Holme's new project Farmikos and also the Stephen Chesney/Robert Mason ep.

Farmikos
Kyng
The Winery Dogs(tho not really hard rock)
Kill Devil Hill

Ive been digging back into my Tool catalog... man I dig.

Man Tool is a constant

Listened to a few Farmikos tracks...nice!

Black Tora--its refreshing to hear some good new "old-school" rock. Razor Dave gets some great tones with the DSL. I believe he is an RT member also.

JOLLY is pretty cool. I suppose they're not traditional hard rock per sey, but they're great nonetheless. Check out their 'Audio Guide to Happiness' double album.

Anything from Sahg. A killer band from Norway. Reminds me of Sabbath meets Alice in Chains.

Then u either live under a rock, or you aren't looking.

Big Wreck
Farmikos
Steve Lukather
Alter Bridge
KXM

At least that's what's in heavy rotation on my iPod.

Jorne Lande. Stupid video but the guy is a great singer. He was in Masterplan and he sang for Yngwie years ago.

He did a killer Dio tribute album.

I always have something on the prog side to listen to. Deep stuff but patience is required if you don't always listen to this stuff.

More of a nod to modern rock meets older rock here.
