It has been in the works. Nero is considering it. Just need the mods to get a big more touchy
Not enough off topic arguments here that go off the rails with members chiming in to outrank each other with their degrees and work experience history. I suspect we can be the blue collar equivalent. EVH instead of Robben Ford, Larry instead of Dumble, Ratt riffs in place of twelve bar blues, maybe camo cargo shorts instead of tan pants.

I am down for v or explorer. San dimas is literally a strat..the most vanilla body style out there. That is very tan pants

Well, I plan on doing both a San Dimas and either a V or Explorer later, so no worries.
Not my personal favorite shape, but enough members selected the San Dimas to make it worth it to do that build.

It’s going to have a JB in it too, isn’t it?

It will likely be an option, but going by intuition I would guess probably not the end result.
Too bad @scottosan isn't in the works right now as that would be cool to make it even more RT.

If you make this a bridge only, i will donate a wagner ironman.

It is wired the same way i had scottosan make mine. The shield and lead only. Pure toan

That's not up to me ?‍♀️
Given the selection so far I would imagine most members are going to want either 3x P90 or a solo filtertron in the neck :ROFLMAO:
(those aren't going to be options)

I play mostly metal and actually love my vintage P90's, '50's & '60's Filtertron's and my all time favorite pickup is the '60's Sueprtron. I've had all the pickups these guys have mentioned (some I still have, but gotta sell) and it wipes the floor with them and actually way more raw, nasty and aggressive than them (and most other pickups) by light years

I have an idea of what you mean and am a fan. My LP Junior and BFG both definitely have that meanness and grind that stands out. The dogear JR a bit more than the soapbars. I only have one guitar with a filtertron and it's kind of weak, so can't really comment to that. That said; pretty sure neither are going to end up in this guitar. My current favorite is probably a Nazgul, a bit similar in that aggressive and raw tone to the P90 and nice and quiet when you want it to be. That's not to say I'm comparing the two, just reminds me of that in your face chainsaw vibe.

Yeah with Filtetron's it's mainly the '50's PAF version for me being magical (somewhere in the late '60's they went downhill IME), but for all out aggression it's the '60's Supertron's for me. Despite measuring just 4k sound like 9-10k. They are the most aggressive, grindy humbuckers I've played with 2nd place IME being probably either the '60's Guild's, '60's Hofner (half blade, half screws) or '60's Gibson Mini-Humbucker's I have

Of course as a metal guy I love my high output ceramics too (my favorites being the vintage Dirty Finger's, '80's Schaller Blade and Lundgren M6's), but those lower output '60's and '50's ones in general deliver better in the type of raw aggression and richer, more expressive type of tone I look for. I think many (maybe even a majority) on here may feel similarly if they gave them a fair chance
