I thought some forum members might enjoy this. I rearranged Fleetwood Mac's "Gold Dust Woman" as a swing tune.

What do you think about it done in this style?

Gold Dust Woman is supposed be this dark, haunting, almost lament about a woman's current life. This upbeat cover misses the point of the song.

I'd always imagined it as a symbolic look at a woman struggling to cope with excess substance abuse while trying to survive the pressures of the music industry. What made me think of a more up-tempo arrangement was both "Gold Dust" representing cocaine, and how frantic the music biz can be.
