Well, now that they are side by side, there is no comparison. The Mark V though, I was slaving into the back end of a Marshall and running a Furman PQ3 through the loop to get something more traditional from the V. From what I remember about my IIC+ I had a few years back, I knew it wasn't the same, but still did a decent job. But, my shit just got a bunch more simpler. No need for slaving or the parametric EQ with the Mark IIC+. Guitar, chord, amp, cab. Done. Gonna see how the loop handles the Intellifex without destroying the grunt and growl. I may A/B and run some FX through a Marshall and leave the IIC+ dry. The Mark V had been in a road case for while. It's probably going back in the penalty box...
