Hey fellas... got my rig almost complete... just need to run two instrument cables and a midi cable from my road case to my pedalboard... I don't want to just put zip ties every few feet... looking for some type of mesh material to hold everything together that will look neat but is durable...

I've found something on Sweetwater but it only comes in 8' or 10' sections, so I'd have to use zip ties to hold the sections together, and I want about 25' to 30' total as I play larger stages very often...

I've also found this... was curious if anyone has any experience with this product... I can order any length that I want and it seems pretty seamless....

I've seen the pedal snake thing as well... but I don't want to go that route...

What are you guys using?

I use something similar called techflex that you can buy by the foot and you can cut it with a heated wire blade or what I did was cut it with normal scissors and then use a heat gun to melt the end and prevent from unraveling. After it's on the snake I put 2-3 inches of heat shrink tubing around each end to keep everything tidy. Like this:

Good thread as I've been thinking about this same thing lately. I'm running time based effects from the board to the loop and everything else from Neutrik jacks on the board.

I just used zip ties. It works fine. You just have to be careful when you wrap not to scrape your hand. Has worked for 6 years.

That looks super sharp... going to do some research on that... is it something I have to order? Like is it a guitar product or is it available at any local retailers?

severin... I've done the zip tie thing... it just looks sloppy to me, i'd like the cables to be somewhat protected, and with lengths around 30' like I'm wanting... it would just be too many...

I'm not a dyi guy for the most part, so I custom ordered an awesome snake from Casey at fallout-labs.com a couple years back and I love it!
It's made gig set ups incredibly quick and easy!
I believe he used TechFlex, Mogami wire(my request), and Neutrik ends with color-coded jackets
