Cut them some slack. It's not like anyone has already payed them for undelivered units.

I always get responses form them. Matter of fact, when I was looking for a new headshell for my recently acquired D60 not only did they write back but also apologized for taking 48 hours to do so.

Must be hit and miss. When I had my UL I tried calling and emailing several times to buy parts and never a response.

Its incredibly disheartening. Fryette refuses to own up to the reality of how haphazard the GP/DI project has been for 'most' of us backers sitting in GP/DI purgatory. Yet, like earlier today, the replies we do actually get from them still attempt to grasp at straws to defend themselves from any communicative neglectfulness in the process.

Can't finish GPDI but already posting PS2 on Facebook?

I emailed Fryette and received a response with in an hour.
PS2 possibly in May.

That's not true...Fryette started a Kickstart campaign to raise the funds on the promise that people would get product, and it's taken 3 YEARS...if this was Mark Cameron we were talking about you'd all be lighting the torches...

I should have been clearer. I was being sarcastic.

This is good to know that they are updating this. A while ago I had posted on the gear page that there was a noticeable difference in tone and gain when playing my metro 12000 series through it. I was basically told that i was delusional by some fryette fanboys and that there is no way that the power station could change the tone of my amp. Although it works perfectly with my high gain heads it definitely takes something away from the plexi in terms of top end and gain. Hopefully the update fixes this.[/quote

I had the same problem when I first bought it. I have a Metro 12000 modified by Friedman and changed it into NMV Metro/Friedman with 6CA7 and a 68/69 specs Scumback Plexi and I was losing top end plus I didn't like the Presence knob. When Steve changed the Presence knob to act like a Plexi and took out the LP filter there was a dramatic difference.

I think they make amazing products, the problem
is financial, and customer service oriented. The any they have handled this whole thing has been atrocious. I have owned several of heir amps, and power amps. I ALMOST did the GD/PI, and so glad I did not. I would love a power stain, but will not, until they get all of this resolved. They will not get dolls one until they do.

I put in for a preorder on the power station 2. I hope it works out for me.

I've had nothing but positive interaction with VHT/Fryette over the years?? Strange to hear any complaints ??
