Its the Guitar Festival here where I live again and I just got a call from one of Larry's guys that he's looking for a bass player and a guitar player to play with him tonight...should I go? Hmmm.... No!

I seen him play a few times through out the years and he's a really cool guitarist but its just not my bag and for me to comp through his songs which I don't know would be a disaster. I haven't read charts in 15 years which would probably be the case and then do trade offs? I would be killed! LOL!

ha thats an awesome oppurtunity missed but from what you said, its prolly for the better..

Yeah you're right! I've jammed a little with Al Dimeola, Rik Emmet, Jeff Healey, etc. a few years back at these festivals but that was a different story, I knew some of the songs. With Larry I would be lost...

I don't know, seriously I'd be less concerned with looking bad and more concerned with what I might be able to learn. Don't think I could pass up an offer like that, even though it would be very intimidating.

I know what you mean and I totally agree but it wouldn't be a good time to learn stuff in front of a couple thousand people looking onward saying who the fuck is this guy?

Hanging out after the show would be cool though.

Guess I can't really argue with that.
