Thank god for spring break, or i would be chasing down the mailman for the next few days....

Bought it from (chad)pfapin05.. I have a gazillion questions but i must say its everything and than more i had hoped for.... Was able to get in a solid hour of just pluggin and and turning knobs so far ... and i am in tone heaven its exactly the sound i have been hearing in my head and searching for, for the last few years...

1st question who LARS?

I am using a 2x12 bogner OS Anniversary CAB w/v30s and it sounds great but being a gear head any recommended speaker tweeking or should i let it ride... ??

Is there any kind of Transfer of ownership needed Papa? What are the number in the SN mean? mine is 001/1361

Hows about some instant gratification setting reccomendations .. ?

Time to re-work the effects ... sdhnc123 sent me some awesome info , and i may lean towards picking up an 11 rack to use the effect ...

As far as instant gratification settings go, I don't know where I even got this but lets just say I've been lurking these forums for a long time as my seemingly insatiable need for a Diezel amp has been nagging at me for years for years (still haven't got one). Let me know how they work out, I'm hoping to be able to try them out myself at some point soonish...

Man... Im so sad to see that Herbert go, it was worked on personally by Peter himself. He fixed a small issue with it right after I had purchased it new... it kept popping fuses. Peter took it apart, and then tweaked it with his Schecter guitar because he didnt like how the amp sounded, so he changed out some different resistors and such and the amp sounded even better than before! Awesome thing was that he signed the inside of the chassis on this amp, so take it out someday and you will find his sig in there... and after all that for free, Peter took me to lunch across the road for a nice sitdown meal with him and his Wife, all on him! Couldnt ask for a nicer guy, and a great company to deal with... and man, this Herbert is something that Im really gonna miss. I just have to many amps, and had to part with one for the meantime to help me and the Wife go on a little nice vacation when I go on my 2 weeks of R&R. Im glad to hear you like the amp, and please post some clips of this thing... it was my favorite herbert out of the 3 that Ive had.

That I am Dan... with a Fortin NATAS on the horizon for me, I need to keep the stable down... I have a freakin lineup of high gainers of all kinds, this was the easiest sale probably. I will indeed order another Herbert down the road, Im already remorsing this!

Thanks for posting that document. Some of those settings are awesome. The document demonstrates the versatility of the Herbert.

Now you will be wondering what it sounds like through the 2290

Since the PDF file got a couple of responses, does anyone know it's origins? Does it come with the amp when you buy it new? Did some random Herbert owner spend days messing with the knobs until they found those settings then feel the generosity to share them with the world? If anyone knows, I figure it's gotta be you guys...

You know what... your absolutly right!!!
