Hmm, my MC had a MV on the lead ch. But at 2 it was loud as hell. My Wizard Metal has a better MV, still loud but not like the MC. Like I said at the clips section, love this clip.
ahh, ok, maybe I'm mispeaking then. I didn't really consider it a master volume amp, since there wasn't a global volume for the poweramp compared to the ch volumes. My other amps have a master volume, then individual channel volumes. The lead gain on my MC just adds preamp gain, rather than acting like a channel volume.

lead ch vol, along with a lead gain control that doubles as a push/pull ch select.

That is the master.

ahh, ok, I misspoke then. Sorry about that guys. I'm used to having a channel volume and gain control for each channel, along with an overall master volume for the amp.

hehe, thanks man. ;)

Whatever it is, it's loud as hell, and there is only one volume control for each channel, no overall volume for the amp.

Ok well I've heard some clips of Erock on Netmusicians before and his stuff is cool. I agree, cool clip. I'd like to hear more.

Yes, some more Wizard MC and somebody get this guy something Fortin...

Yeah, this clip sounds really good! Good guitar tone and cool riff. Kinda makes me wanna say "told you so!" to the guys in the mic thread who said the e906 sucks. :D

Keep up the good work erock

Ecock's clips are great, I like that dude alot. He's a cool guy and likes most of the amps I do.

thanks a bunch guys, I'll definitely be doing a lot more clips this year. We're moving to a new house this year, so I'm hoping to build a proper little man cave with a setup for recording. Pretty excited.

mmmmm, Fortin. :inlove:

thanks my friend. I really like that mic, especially when it's paired with the SM57, seems to compensate a lot for my haphazard mic placement.

By the looks of things its gonna be a while, i dont have the spare change to buy one and the only way i could do it is if i sold my rev. blue and then found a used tj. i really want a front loaded cab too, also xmas time is here and all my funds will go to paying my bills and getting gifts for my family. My wife got me a black esp truckster that i wanted for xmas but i should have waited and tried to talk her into a tj

This is a pretty awesome and pissed off sounding track
Do you play in a band or just record with people? Who did the vox?

haha, very nice. Oh well, guess you'll have to "suffer" with the Rev Blue a little longer, lol. Yeah, the gear aquisitions are taking a back seat for a while with the holidays coming here too. The oldest boy is all about gifts this year, haha, it's going to be a blast watching his face.

thanks man, no band, just record with people when I can. That's my friend Gareth doing the vox on that track. He also programmed the drums and did some mastering on it. Way above my head. All I did was come up with the actual rhythm and play bass/guitar. He's a very talented guy.

Thanks Steve

Ok Erock, I'm exercising that "right of first refusal" clause in our contract. I want my amp back!

Like I said in the other thread, kick-ass clip. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the whole BB Preamp thing. It's a great boost pedal but I never thought it was that tight in the bottom end.

well, I think that's mostly amp man, the Wizard is a pretty tight and percussive amp already IMO, that's one of the things that really caught my attention in the first place. I have the BB setup like a clean boost, so around 8:00 OD with the vol up about 2:00-3:00. I guess it does tighten up a bit, but it's more for the saturation and feel for my tastes. That's one thing I love about the BB too, it doesn't suck a lot of lowend out like a normal TS, but still manages to keep a controlled bottom. I think those JJ's you had it in it were on the way out too, they ended up redplating on me not long after I got the amp from Matt. I really like the Tung Sol EL34B I have in it now. Josh over at Rebel Amps recommended I try them in it, and I'm quite pleased with them.
