Great acoustic guitar tone

A lot of changes happening in the digital world.
How did you use the ToneX and how did you like it ?

I have used the GPDI-IR into the ToneX pedal for a interface.

i tried gtr-> tonex and it was decently useable.
but i also thought that having something in front if it like you mentioned may be better to fine tune and condition the input.
