Groove tubes in my Peavey 5150

Doing some cosmetic maintenance on my Peavey 5150 combo and opened up the back to see what tubes were in it. There's a pair of Mesa 6L6 power tubes which I was told were fairly new when purchased. When I opened up the preamp tube shields I found Groove Tubes. I don't know much about much, but folks don't seem to like these.

Time to order replacements, or will I survive?

folks don't like them because they are overpriced.. you have them already so you are good. groove tubes ia a reseller so you could have jj's, chinese or russian tubes in there.

Right on, any way to determine what they might actually be?

Post a pic that you can see the inside pretty well. Even if unmarked someone might be able to tell.
