I think my mind was on Kurt Cobain and also simultaneously thinking of Deftones and that's how this came about. The biggest problem was the tuning, which kind of made the tone a bit muddy, so I struggled a bit to get everything to sit right in the mix.
I used a Mayones Regius Core into a VHT GP3 and 2902. Setup was recorded with a E906 mic on an Orange cab.
The bass was a Warwick Vampyre SN-5 into a Darkglass Microtubes 900. Got to say, I've been fooling around with bass tones on the Axe FXIII and Neural DSP's Parallax, but the bass amp had a character that I like a lot, so I may experiment with it on future tracks.
