Hello. I hope someone will be able to help me. I have both the gsp and 6505+. I'm totally digging them. However, I'm looking for some guidance. I am using the gsp's int preamp for wonderful cleans and right now, just bypassing it for the 6505+ distortion (everything turned off and using ext preamp). I was using the ts808 on the gsp to tighten up the sound some, but I have a Jekyll and Hyde that I like much better. I also have an old art x-12 midi controller to change patches. My question is, what's the best way to switch between the rhythm and lead channels on the peavey? I don't think I can do it with midi but would love it it was possible. Let me know what you guys think...... Thanks!

You will need some kind of switcher that converts MIDI to line relays in order to do what you want. Something like this:https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ContSwitcher
With this, you can change channels on your amp and on the GSP at the same time with one button on your X-12.

Check out the RJM Amp gizmo and mini Amp gizmo....I use the mini with my 6505+

Thanks everyone who replied. After thinking on the issue, the answer was staring me right in the face. I set up a gsp patch using the peavey preamp and it's working great. I'm still incredibly new with the gsp1101 but am learning all the time and loving it.
New question. I have everything set up for a clean using the GSP and crunch and lead using the peavey. And I'm using the 4 cable method with wireless and a ts-808 thrown in. My question is, it's still very low volume. Now I know I can turn up the post on the peavey, or the output level on the GSP. Which is the preferred method?
Thanks in advance.
