Many of us have a natural aversion to the same sex and an uncontrollable inclination towards the opposite sex, and we don't believe we are bad for doing what is biologically appropriate for us. Therefore, an aversion to gays is a natural biological trait that most men have. It has nothing to do with our political state of mind.
