Just got back after staying at James' and I can't even begin to thank him enough for letting Megan and I spend the night and hang out at the Lugo household. Wicked nice guy all around. Just a trip getting to hang out with James and Harris and play some incredible gear. Lots cool stuff between the past two days.

Bill made some incredible BBQ and I wanted to sell my Friedman for his Soldano. The Soldano just crushed everything. A lot of wicked nice guys in attendance. Had a blast hanging with Matt (glgp80) and he's incredible guitarist. Cool day filled with nice amps. I loved the Uberschall as well.

I felt like crap playing in front of some guys but the amps were killer and I hope to do this again.

Ya, big thanks to James for hosting this. What surprised me the most was how great almost every amp sounded, and the Thorns that Red Rider brought were amazing to behold.

LOLOL. Dude that's what pork looks like before it's cooked.... I am assuming you are a vegetarian. :-)

What can I say - met some fantastic people and James was extremely humble for allowing everyone into the studio. Great time meeting Harris, Bill, John (sp?), Currie (sp?), Aristocat (Dom) and tons of incredible players

The studio sounded amazing. James was going through a few playbacks of recordings he had done and the sound was amazing. Talent is an understatement. It was cool to see a few songs broken down into pieces and realize how much magic goes into a recording.

Had an absolute blast playing through the amplifiers. Bill's rack SLO (Sharkdriver's old SLO) was the best sounding SLO I have ever played or heard. Even at 4 on the volume it was loud, but still was not giving up the goods. It took cranking that monster to 6.5 before it turned into the purple people eater

Had the chance to play a Fortin Bones which was amazing.

Aristocat's Friedman and James's Friedman both sounded killer. I think the biggest shocker for me was how great the avatar loaded cabinet sounded. That cabinet sounded great no matter what was played through it. Big up's to avatar cabs.

Thanks again to James!

On the other note I have never seen that much pulled pork disappear into thin air that fast

I had four pulled pork sandwiches before we went to jam lol.

Your modded 6505 was no slouch either. Very tight and rich in the lows. Glad you enjoyed my amp too.

Answered.

I know one thing ol' Bob.
The absolute domination, torment and torture of these virtually defenseless animals is a huge fucking stain on you and me. Whether you're taking part in it personally or just ignorantly piling it high at Subway. It don't make you a "man". Maybe try a little less cruelty.

See, I knew there was more to your comment.

I'm not going to take a dump on the thread though so will engage no further.

LOL. that stand had to be a set up!!! I'll be rolling out to get some feet and figure out a handle for my home made box next week for sure! 8-)

For those that weren't there, the SLO is a rack mount and sits in a box I made myself with no feet or handles so it can't sit on top of another head...so it was sitting on a tv tray out in front of everything (the wooden stands you eat dinner off of while sitting on the couch).
