So I'm just curious, what's a decent connector for guitar cables. I'm putting together a little rack/pedal rig and I don't really need those neutrik silent ones or anything.
How good are the quality on these?

Any suggestions on what I should get? I have a bunch of bulk Mogami and lava cable laying around so I'm good on that.

That Amphenol plug with Mogami would be pretty good I would think. Might be worth forking over a few more bucks to get the angle plugs for the pedal board though. I recently went with evidence/monorail for my board. Does it look cool? Hell yeah ;) Does it make a difference on tones, honestly I can't tell.

The Amphenol connectors are good and easy to assemble and solder to. I have a few cables with them. The neutrik plugs have a better strain relief system but for a pedal board it seems unnecessary.

I prefer Neutrik or switchcraft ends over Ampenol.

season after season the first two tend to hold up better. all are still pretty damn good.
