I kinda thought for some reason that this was a guitar forum?

I posted a clip, which the majority here doesn’t do.

Was hoping to get EVH technique tips as well as tips working with Logic.

All I got was crickets…

This guy does a good job describing what he does to get that percussive tone. Great video. I’ve seen it a few times.

Guitar is a "self help" program, you have to learn it yourself. If you can't try Clarinet.

You limited your response base to others following the EVH tone/playing path. It’s also summer when forms in general are a lot slower. People don’t spend as much time online especially over the weekends. Don’t take it personally. Just bump your own thread.

To be fair, marketing wise that has to be the worst thread title of all time… “trying again” sounds like some yumyum tripping on his dick.

I've noticed that....

it is like there are no other guitar players in existence that have great tone

(spoiler alert, I don't think EVH is the end all, he was like Hendrix, drastically different at the time he came out, but very predictable playing)

I love the sound of the guitars on VHII. I never liked the sound of the guitar on VHI very much.

As for threads with vague titles I never look at them. If the title doesn't have gear name mentioned or the title doesn't actually say something clearly I would never look at it.
There is so much drama queen and off topic crap on Rig Talk most of us are trying to avoid.
