So one thing I know - a tele style guitar with forearm contour is the perfect guitar for me. My LTD TE’s all fit that bill except this one TE-406 I had. So I fixed it lolol Obviously I am NOT a skilled craftsman, But hey I got it done, and it’s

atta boy!
i took my gtr apart so i could just sand the body without dust getting in the electronics and hand finished with 800/2000/2500 grit.

right on man!! I left the neck on so I could play it and make sure I got the angle I wanted. Gonna have to use some compressed air to clean out the cavities before I put electronics back in

Reminds me of all the vintage guitars I mutilated in the 80's.
They weren't classics then, just used junk. To be honest, they are still just used junk IMO.

Man, I kept waiting for someone to run out of that building on the left with a chainsaw and cut you up! :)

I can't stand that sharp edge on guitars without forearm contours so I'm with you on this one. It hasn't given me the nerve to do it to my made in Spain nylon string classical yet though...

I see it as kinda like using fingerpicks; if it doesn't hurt you're doing it wrong.

My favorite part though is how D just stood on the guitar to hold it down while he belt sanded it. Redneck luthiery rules.🤌
