Guitar Volume Pot Recommendation

Update: Followed Geo's advice and grabbed a few Super-Pots from RS Guitar Works. Installed one yesterday. Went in in a snap (I do think my skills with the soldering iron have improved...) These are absolutely killer. And well worth the price. I also grabbed a Dimarzio Pot - thank you Music and Chaos - and will use that in a different guitar in the near future.

Thank you for the recommendations - Geo, the RS Super Pot is MONEY !!

A trick I learned the hard way is roll the pot in either direction to the max.
Then solder the ground towards the middle
This way you don't burn the wiper or tracer

Another trick with multiple ground wires i solder a 6 inch wire to the pot.

Then splice in the other wires to the other end. I like to use wire nuts and black tape them

Same for the lugs and caps

Avoides the big clob and next pup or cap swap i don't have to touch the pots at all or need the iron again

Just undo the wire nuts

The nuts give the tone more balls.
