i have grown to love floyd rose guitars. I just like to have them blocked so they can only dive. I didnt like them until i set them up like that.

Depends on if you're going to be doing a lot of drop tuning, as far as drop D or whatever. If you're sticking with the same tuning I'd say floyd, if you're going to change it up a lot then a hard tail. I like having my floyd and blocking it. That way if you want to use the wammy bar you can uninstall the block.

depends on the vibe & style of the instrument
ie. a floating floyd can be awesome..although not my go to guitar when im pluckin on the couch!
if im feeling heavy handed hartail for sure

She doesn't look like that anymore. Kind of like my guitars. Put a few miles on them and they get beat up a good bit. Too bad that the mileage usually makes my guitars look better but women worse.

I go both ways . I just can't get along with tune o matics. Teles, wrap tails, hipshots, all good.
