Has anyone tried Polar Mini between Helix and Tonex one?

These devices are supposed to take MIDI commands in and send commands out to the Tonex One over USB C. Not sure if it will work with the Tonex One in locked mode, which I keep mine in because of the silly autosave that you can't turn off. Is anyone running one of these? Or are you running the Android phone conversion thing? Is it easy to program from MIDI commands sent by the Helix? I assume the Helix Snapshots Instant Commands should be able to send PC and CC messages but I'm not sure

I haven't used it but thanks for posting this up, didn't know about it

OK just got this in the mail today, gonna do a livestream and probably an epic fail trying to get it to work. But fingers crossed!

Alright, just ended the live stream. This thing is EPIC! I have some questions, but switching from the Helix for PC messages is zero problem. I could do stuff with CC's but I'm a bit hesitant because of the Tonex's stupid autosave "feature"

Sadly, the stupid autosave on Tonex One DOES change the presets, but I guess we could force CC#s, or just leave the lock on and do PC changes only.

On the whole though, this is an awesome combo! Towards the end of the video I get the PCs going

This thing has greatly simplified my life, seriously. Anytime I want to try a new amp (even if its a Helix one) I can just change a MIDI PC in the Command Center and have all my amps switched. Probably going to make a script to do this even quicker

I have been looking at these with a M Vave Chocolate Plus. I don't need a bunch of sounds, but 4 instead of 2 would be helpful. I don't know if it that would make more sense, or just get a bigger ToneX pedal.

I have both the Tonex One and the Pedal, but the Pedal won't fit on my pedalboard, so I usually use it for situations where I'm mixing live and a modern intellect player wants a certain sound and doesn't mind not leaking the amp volume all over the stage. This device gives me Tonex Pedal control o nthe Tonex One. They also have a device called the Micro I think, that is so small I could have put it on the underside of my pedalboard. I thought I wante dto be able to see the preset's name on the screen for confidence, but if I had to buy again, I'd probably get the micro. So far the thing just works and I don't need the confidence screen, I can just look on my phone to see the same info and more (not sure if I covered that much on the video, but the phone control is epic and takes you beyond what the Tonex Pedal itself can even do)
