It's been a good 6 yrs since I last bought an amp. But finally got a Rivera TBR-1SL from a good friend. It came today, jeez what a great sounding amp. I put a Mesa 5 band EQ in the loop and holy shit this thing is mean as hell...

Oh man, what a great amp! Miss the one I had! Bought one for the Jason Bieler connection, but so many great sounds in there. Boosted, that amp is a beast!

(quietly lies in wait in the bushes, ready to pounce the moment he needs money to pay for new shoes for his ridiculously huge feet)

(not so secretly jealous as fuck)

Congrats, brother! Looking forward to trying it out!

(fuck him. I refuse to be happy for him)

Love Rivera's! I am on the hunt again now that I have Power Station. Rivera's want the master up to deliver the goods and unless it was the R30 I had, the sweet spot was crazy loud.

Yeah, this thing is stupid loud at 1. :) but man it sounds killer.

Congrats! I was in a band with a guy who gigged its baby brother (M60) for a few years. I never got over the tones that he got out of that thing. Clean to over the top.

Congrats! They are killer amps. I had the same amp, bought from Jason Bieler about 10 yrs ago. It was signed by Paul Rivera in solder "for Jason Bieler". Pretty cool. My old drummer has it; he's a big SK fan and wanted to buy it from me if I wanted to move it. Lots of ways to mold your tone with the push/pulls, notch/slope etc. Great clean, loop and it's a stereo rig too. Heavy as hell too!

I'll get a couple clips done as soon as I get reacquainted with her, and get it all dialed in, been playing around with it, so many variations on adding and subtracting gain, and volume... I'm getting there.
