It's been a while since I've posted on this board. But then my computer has been distracting me by not working! So, anyhoo, I have this issue with some programming. Hope either Dave or someone might be able to help point out something I may have missed or give that slap upside the head or something.

Here's the problem. I have a Rocktron RSB 18 (The really old one) that I'm using for midi control of my TC G Major and an Axess GRX-4 (Sad to hear about Mario moving on). I've been using the RSB to control my G Major for the last year or so with absolutely NO problems whatsoever. So, now I'm trying to incorporate the GRX-4 into the system and I'm having some issues getting it to respond to the midi signal.

This is how I've got it setup (I believe) The GRX-4 is in CC1 mode and the RSB is sending CC 80-83 on Loops 1-4 on midi channel 16 (which I believe is the only midi channel the GRX-4 responds to CC signals). But so far, to no avail. The beautiful little black box doesn't respond to anything. I'm getting a little annoyed.

Any insights?

are you sure the grx 4 is programed right and of course are you sure the rsb18 is programed right? also make sure the midi cable is good. Lets start with this.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I have done the following: I have set up my TC G Major to receive MIDI CC on channel 16 to verify that the RSB was transmitting the correct CC signals. I also have the G Maj at the end of the MIDI chain, so I am sure the MIDI cable are good. I also followed the instructions to the letter to program the GRX-4 to CC! mode. I also made sure that all the loops were set to Latching as well. After all that, I reapply power to the GRX-4 and it still does not respond to anything! This is why I am so befuddled!

On a side note, I do have the GRX-4 in the signal chain and it passes the guitar signal beautifully. So I know there's no power issues. ( BTW, I'm powering it with a VooDoo Pedal Power 2 Plus)

Thanks anyway Dave. I thought you'd say that. Had to give it a try anyway. I'm emailing Mario to see if he's got any insight.
