Heh, I was a member at Harmony Central for a long time, mainly in the Political Party. It really went downhill after ownership changes brought in a new atmosphere of sterility. TOO MANY RULES! Everyone left. Now PP is a dwindling number of liberal back-patters. I'm lib too, but it was too obvious and one-track for my tastes. It's now dominated by a couple of intellectual peeps who condescend onto others - I'm sure they are nice people, however. It is what it is, and it's not fun like it used to be.
Where's Nubie Girl? LOL, she was probably a he.
Stompbox Man was a nut job.
Daryl was a jerk.
I had good laughs there until it was sold to the corporate mindset and the stiffies became the norm.
I refuse to go back there and even look at anymore.

I'm wondering, what is the "A" in HCAF, Amp? AFAIK it was officially HC alone, but subforums added more letters. Is that right?

Same here. Although I probably frequented the Effects forum even more, because I started building my own back in those days (early 2000's).
I heard "Never Say Goodbye" from Bon Jovi on the radio last week, which suddenly popped an old HCAF quote/term in my head.
"Sambora'd", remember that one?
I believe the meaning was described something like "To be of superior musical talent, but left holding the jockstrap of a lesser talented bandmember/vocalist"...
There was a group of us that went to the Haunting Mids forum, but that seemed to dry up as well... Probably haven't been there in 15 years or so.
