Ok .. I know I'm nuts , But after a few more pre amp experiments early this morning with different guitars I have decited to keep the Cameron , as it really is a killer amp .

Well one thing I found is the amp really doesn't care for the Aldrich pickups I have in one of my Les Pauls , but really works well with everything else I have .

The Aldrich Pickups are Killer though , and work great with the other Cameron's , but I found myself constantly adjusting , and turning down the gain on the Cameron Marshall 800 to get the sweet spot , but that amp is voiced so aggressive that it just didn't seem to agree with those pickups .

Try putting a 5751 in V1. I had an Aldrich and that really sweetened it up and gave you a lot more breathing room on the gain pot.
