I am still recovering from a neck/shoulder injury, so I haven't been able to play my heavy 10 lb les Pauls much. After about 8.5lbs, I start noticing a guitar's weight. I went through and weighed all my guitars about 6 months ago with a nice accurate scale, interesting results. For example, I figured my 5 string bass would weigh more than my 4 string, nope, about the same. Both around 10lbs, btw.
