He won't change. He's a miserable 70 year old boy who is reliant on the US Government, and has too much time on his hands.

I have time on my hands too, but I retired early and have started a few companies as I watch my portfolio grow. But I like to talk about gear and it is of genuine interest to me. I also apologize if I get something wrong and am able to walk away from this place for days or weeks on end.
