I've been hammered in Brooklyn before Dan. In fact I hitch hiked home from Brooklyn once hammered. And covered in blood from fighting. Which explains why I didn't get a ride until I was across the bridge and well down into the south side.
Was it when they still had the toll on the Mickinley? Had to throw them quarters in the bin to get by.

From Brook-land i went to McDonalds to get a cup of coffee to put my head together but it wasn't really working so i went to the Cahokia Mounds museum trying to get it together tripping balls on the Cahokian exhibits LOL.
Eventually made it home. Not good times Bro.

I walked 80 miles from Sarasota Fla to Lakeland Fla in the same pair of socks in 1990.
I don't recomend that.

I walked through the entire city of Macon on 75. Paducah Kentucky too, in the same trip. No one picking up hitch hikers in either city. I got a ride from a dude in a Chevelle about 3 miles south of Paducah and he took me to Macon where he was changing highways on his way to Savannah. So I walked though Macon. I was the only white person I saw. Made it from STL to Tampa in under 24 hours.
