Help me choose next guitar.

Hitting up the forum breauxs for suggestions. TL;DR help me choose a Shredder (fast playing) Strat, Low Profile bridge and Ebony board.

Bittersweet but it has to be from Sweetwater. Wife got some credit for me to get something for Christmas so that is awesome but what I really want isn’t at Sweetwater (Balaguer).

I love Ebony boards and Strat shaped guitars. Would like to keep it around $1k give or take but can spend a little more for the right guitar.

I’d like to try the Evertune so I’m looking at the LTD MH-1000-ET but I’m also interested in seeing what the KM6 mkiii will be about. The slim body and specs are VERY appealing to me but not 100% sold on the color (although it is cool) and although I could look past it, I don’t really like the headstock.

Either way I would like a Low Profile bridge like an Evertune or Hipshot. I have an ESP with the TOM and it’s a killer guitar but I can play slightly faster on my Floyd so I want something low pro. Not opposed to a Floyd but I don’t really use it much so it’s more about the low profile than anything.

Anyway those are my top two guitars right now. Having to wait for the KM6 may hurt my insides but I’m willing. The LTD allows me to try Evertune and I know it will be a solid guitar but I already have an ESP. What else should I be looking at?

I just happened to be looking through Sweetwater, there are some good choices in that range. The Jackson DK’s look like a killer shredder.

Yeah that Ibanez does seem nice. I guess I wouldn’t get that based on natural wood color. Some of those Schecter Hybrids look nice though. I might need to go to GC play one of those.

Ibanez is a nice choice, just try em in person cause some QC problems happened lately.

Schecter Banshee / Elite is another fine option.

Used E-II as well.

Yeah, I’ve had a few Ibanez’s. Kind of lost interest over the years and have had some duds. Wouldn’t mind a J custom or something super nice but Sweetwater is my only option. Have been looking at Eii’s as well but just haven’t seen the right one I guess.

There’s some Killer deals on ESP right now on clearance and a pretty awesome Dealer Exclusive but I’m using a sweetwater card so my options are limited.

Holcomb burst PRS looks nice too but never played one.

Yeah man when I first saw it I was like oh damn but the more I have time to think...not sure if I like the headstock and I might need to see regular pics of the color.

Definitely curious and Sweetwater should carry them so will see. The wait may be hard for me, might be a while before we see them and I want something now.

I will say without financing via Sweetwater my next guitar is going to be a Balaguer Archetype with 2 Hum and nightmare burst but the need neck Profile is the thing I need to see about with that one.

Anyway, idk...still window shopping but it’s killing me

The schecter headstock grew on me, and I love plain or clear wood tops.
